Serenity scampered down the grand crystalline staircase leading towards the foyer of the castle. Endymion followed at her side, followed by Haru, Fumiko, and Theta. The front doors of the entrance remained open. Smoke poured into the front lobby, carried by an eerie bitter wind, along with a rather putrid smell of something burning. Serenity clasped a hand over her mouth, not wanting to throw up during a pivotal battle.
The smoke soon dissipated, travelling down the hallways until fizzling out. Serenity and her party reached the door, and the queen quickly stopped in her tracks. Everything was on burnt. The trees, the beautiful garden, even the ground was smouldering. Yet worse so, were the bodies lying on the ground. Apocatastasis and the shadow stood among them, pleased with their work.
"So the successor of the Moon Kingdom finally shows," the shadow proclaimed, jabbing a finger at the queen. "You can blame your wretched lineage for all of this. You brought

The enemy was trying to break into the palace. Serenity could feel their power crash against the invisible barrier she'd erected when she'd created Crystal Tokyo with her own power. She wanted to prevent the alternate future from happening. She wanted to protect everyone and took every measure to do so. And it was all unravelling so quickly. She felt a sudden immense sadness as tears rolled down her face. It was all happening again, wasn't it? The past repeated itself constantly in a neverending cycle of sacrifice for peace that seemed to come and go on an eternal cycle. "I want to fight with them."
"Serenity," Endymion protested, drawing her into his arms. "If you divert too much power to fight, the power you use to sustain the cosmos will dwindle. People will die."
Serenity closed her eyes, pain in her heart. "I know." She knew very well. It was the reason she couldn't become Sailor Moon anymore. The power which she once used to fight evil was now used t

The lifeless body fell from his hands, slumping on the ground, joining with the others who had fallen before him. "Heh," the shadow snickered. "Seems the A*s weren't as strong as legend foretold." He pushed his heeled shoe into Star's side as she lay lifelessly on the ground. "With you gone, the barrier is no more. Come, Apocatastasis! Stop fooling around and end this."
"With pleasure," Apocatastasis smirked. As Merkkur moved, the rogue caught the end of the segmented staff in her hand. Using the power given to her by the shadow, she converted the staff into energy segment by segment.
Merkkur attempted to release the staff to stop the conversion, but she found herself unable to let go as if her hands were glued to it. "You ugly monster!" she hissed before she too was converted to energy and drunk by the rogue.
"Beautiful," the rogue smirked, rubbing her hands down her face with a crazed look in her eye. "Such beautiful energy."

The others were on their way. Merkkur was certain of this. Kunzite was barring the entrance to the palace with his own body and power. She wasn't certain how long he'd last, but she wasn't certain how long she would either. This was the final battle. It had to be. It was like fighting Pifite, but this time, it didn't feel so futile. Merkkur wasn't sure she could defeat Apocatastasis, but at least she could match her and keep her busy.
Star wasn't sure what to do with this situation. She wasn't prepared for this. Her only experience was just the leftovers from the Shadow Galaxy. She had first considered Apocatastasis to be like the other rogues, easy to beat and easy to look heroic against. But this one was different. She seemed to be a latecomer, but Star just couldn't figure her out, reasoning the rogue to simply be so completely out of her mind there was no means to return.
Cometius had turned for the worse. After the shadow had attempted to taint her sailor
